Deakin Dashboard
A private household planner for the Deakin family. One screen for the family calendar, the to-do list, the shopping list and the little jobs that need doing every few weeks.
What it does
Family calendar
Shows upcoming events from the shared Deakin Google Calendar. Family members can add, edit and delete events and set reminders without opening Google Calendar.
To-dos
A shared to-do list. Family members can add a task and tick it off, and both see the same list.
Shopping, trackers and a shared note
A shared shopping list, "days since" counters for household jobs and a note. These are saved on the dashboard's own server so both family members see the same thing.
Who it is for
Deakin Dashboard is a private tool for one household. It is not a public service and it does not offer accounts. The dashboard itself opens only from a private link.
How the calendar connection works
The Deakin Google Calendar is shared with a service account that belongs to the dashboard. The dashboard server uses that account to read and change events on that one calendar. Family members do not sign in to Google to use the dashboard. Read the full detail in the privacy policy.
